Summertime has arrived and on a hot and humid day, it is likely that you will crave a nice, refreshing dose of lemonade at some point. If you’re not in the mood to squeeze a bunch of lemons to make real lemonade, this recipe is the absolute best alternative which involves mango nectar and my personally approved store-bought lemonade. In my opinion, the brand Simply Lemonade is the best store-bought lemonade due to the absence of corn syrup in its ingredients. The only drawback … it’s extremely sugary. So, you have lots of culinary opportunity to add ice and mango nectar to water it down but still capitalize on the mango for its natural sweetness.
- 1 fresh lemon, peeled
- 2 cups Simply Lemonade
- 1 cup mango nectar
- 3 cups ice
- Store wide-rimmed glasses in the freezer for at least 30 minutes.
- Using a paring knife, peel lemon and cut in quarters. Remove seeds.
- Combine prepared lemon, lemonade, mango nectar and ice in blender. Blend until desired texture is achieved.
